The List report suggests that this is not the first time that the first lady has missed the Trump clan’s celebration.

Some critics are viewing Melania's absence as a sign that she isn’t very interested in building a closer bond with her stepchildren.
According to People, a source has revealed that Anderson’s bridal shower was “gorgeous.” Giving further insights into the decoration, the source added, “The event was held mostly inside and was lovely, but there were guests hanging outside some of the time.”

The source revealed that the ballroom was decked out in florals, and the menu included a burrata salad, chicken roulade for the main course and mixed berries for dessert.
Each guest also reportedly received a luxury gift bag full of high-end products, including skincare, clothing and more.
The media outlet further notes that while most Trump couples have exchanged their wedding vows at Mar-a-Lago, the White House has also been considered a possible venue in the case of Trump Jr. and Anderson.
“This would set them up for future political roles, whether Don Jr. goes after the presidency or something else,” the source explained.
