It seems like Helen Mirren has put to rest the rumors of her rift with MobLand co-star Tom Hardy.

Earlier, media reports claimed that Hardy's friction with the veteran actress was responsible for him being ousted from the Paramount+ crime-drama series.

However, Mirren's latest social media post has firmly rubbished these speculations.

Mirren took to her Instagram handle to share a picture of Hardy, captioning the post, “Love you, now and always.”

This comes amid several rumors doing the rounds that the Oscar-winning actress was miffed with the actor over his alleged unprofessional attitude on set.

Some social media users speculated that the alleged conflict might also have been due to their different political leaning.

Hardy was fired from the show following an alleged spat with the senior actress on set, which apparently made it extremely difficult for them to work together.

An insider close to the development told the Daily Mail, “Tom’s character is charming. He’s the calm one but it is quite the opposite when the cameras stop. Dame Helen is a joy, she is a total pro and she has worked with so many people over the years.”

The source added that Mirren was getting “increasingly frustrated” with the Venom: The Last Dance actor and his attitude.

The insider stated, “He can be late to filming too, and that is annoying for Dame Helen, who is extremely professional and disciplined. His tone is something Dame Helen doesn’t like, along with his lateness.”

The further noted that Mirren “expects better” and “holds people to a high standard”, but Hardy “swaggers around like a king” and is “very, very arrogant.”

Some sources also told Variety that Hardy was ousted from the Paramount+ series because he conflicted with producer Jez Butterworth, 101 Studios and others.

An X user speculates about the future of the show 'MobLand.'

A report in Puck News stated that the Havoc actor allegedly created an unprofessional work environment on the show's sets.

It stated that while shooting for the second season of MobLand, Hardy used to come late on the set repeatedly, which left the makers and his co-stars, including Mirren, furious.

Apart from this, Hardy also allegedly insisted on changing the dialogue and was disappointed with his co-stars.

However, another report on the development soon revealed that the actor has not yet been fired from the series.

According to the report, Hardy has not officially been removed from MobLand as the executive producer of the series, Guy Ritchie, is actively working with 101 Studios chief David Glasser to smooth over the creative differences.

An insider told Variety on Thursday, May 28, “The door is not closed for Season 3, and things are being worked through creatively.”

Hardy essayed the role of Harry Da Souza, who is a cold-blooded fixer for a British crime family.

Apart from Hardy and Mirren, MobLand also stars Pierce Brosnan, Joanne Froggatt, Paddy Considine, Anson Boon, Lara Pulver, Mandeep Dhillon, Daniel Betts and Jasmine Jobson.
