A recent report suggests that she has been quietly using her powerful network to bring people together, bolstering her reputation as a connector in her circle of friends: introducing friends to figures ranging from world leaders to actors within her husband’s circle.
According to The Daily Mail, an insider said, “Everyone these days goes to Lauren; she is like a matchmaker now because, between her friends and Jeff’s friends, they know a ton of eligible bachelors, and they are cool; they will introduce people for sure.” The report suggests that she recently coupled Louisiana-born model Brooks Nader and British actor Taron Egerton.
The source further detailed, “Brooks told her good pal Lauren to set her up with a cute guy. So Lauren was like, ‘What about Taron?’ Brooks flipped because he's so hot and talented, she was like, ‘Yes, yes, yes’.”

Sources say Nader is very enthusiastic about her relationship with the Kingsman actor. She’s reportedly so excited that she even told a friend she hopes to follow a similar path as Brooks Egerton in the future.
The report further claims that the couple first met at Bezos and Sánchez’s star-studded wedding in Italy in June 2025, while the former journalist reportedly introduced the pair.
“Brooks has been wanting to meet a celebrity for a very long time; she wanted to be in a power couple,” the tipster said.
In addition, according to Hollywood insider Rob Shuter, who wrote on his Substack in October 2025, Sánchez played cupid between her best friend and singing sensation Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, following Perry's split from Orlando Bloom in June 2025. “Lauren introduced them through her circle – she thought they'd vibe instantly, and wow, did she call it.”
