In addition, another joked, “Just an incredible thing to hear from a congresswoman who was kicked out of a musical for groping her date in the auditorium.”
Boebert’s Beetlejuice controversy dates back to 2023 after her divorce from Jayson Boebert. According to The Guardian, the congresswoman, accompanied by her date, was escorted out of a performance of Beetlejuice for disruptive behavior.
The CCTV footage from the event showed her vaping, taking flash photographs, and singing loudly, which disturbed other patrons as well. In addition, the videos from the event also showed them engaging in inappropriate behavior while in their seats.

Boebert and her campaign manager initially denied the accusations of being removed from the show and vaping. However, after multiple sources and videos from the event confirmed that she had hit the vape and revealed her other apparent activities with her date.
According to The Colorado Sun, Boebert later acknowledged that the past few days had been “humbling” and “difficult” for her, and apologized for the unwanted attention her presence in Denver brought. The GOP firebrand mentioned that as a private citizen, she regretted being involved in malicious activities that caused harm, but she didn’t intend to do so.
She said, “There’s no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which over the past few months has made for a challenging personal time for me and my entire family. I’ve tried to handle it with strength and grace as best I can, but I simply fell short of my values on Sunday. That’s unacceptable, and I’m sorry.”
