Lately, it seems as though every celebrity is releasing a makeup line. It certainly makes sense, as the A-listers are always working with the world's greatest makeup artists. So, when Lady Gaga entered the beauty industry, it just made sense.
The Oscar winner has been going against the grain since she released her 2008 single "Just Dance." From wearing a lightning bolt on her cheek to simply rocking a red lip, fans have watched the songstress experiment with makeup over the years, and now they can pull inspiration from her through her products.
In a video shared on the Sephora YouTube channel, Lady Gaga gives fans a full tutorial on how to use their latest products to achieve the perfect bold yellow eye. The "John Wayne" singer uses the Haus Labs by Lady Gaga Hy-Power Pigment Paint in Citrine Matte, as a bold liner. The colorful products are not only perfect for trying something new, but since they are a multi-use product, they reduce the amount of product in a makeup kit. The pigment paints can be used as eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick or blush.
In the tutorial, Lady Gaga is later seen using the Haus Labs by Lady Gaga Optic Intensity Eco EyelinerLabs Optic Liner. According to the brand, it is the first of its kind. "This first-to-market eco-friendly eyeliner boasts a barrel that is 100% bio-cellulose (tree-friendly and biodegradable) made from recycled paper fibers - instead of plastic. The super gliding, creamy texture delivers pigment-loaded kajal-based formula with every stroke. Safe for the inner and outer eye," the message reads.
Haus Laboratories initially launched in 2019, and it became the first major beauty brand to launch exclusively on Amazon as a retail partner. The products were available for purchase in the United States, Germany, France, Japan and the United Kingdom. After launching Haus Laboratories, Lady Gaga later launched the Sephora exclusive brand Haus Labs.
