Kylie Jenner Named in Lawsuit by Former Housekeeper Who Alleges Racial Harassment and a Hostile Work Environment

Kylie Jenner is facing a discrimination lawsuit from her former housekeeper who has alleged that she faced a toxic and a humiliating work environment while she was working for the beauty mogul.

According to the documents obtained by E! News on April 21, 2026, Jenner has been named in a lawsuit brought by former housekeeper, Angelica Vasquez, who alleged that she was subjected to “severe and pervasive harassment" while working at the entrepreneur’s home in Hidden Hills, California.

Reportedly, the lawsuit does not specifically attribute any of the alleged discrimination to the Kardashians star, though she is listed as a defendant alongside two limited liability companies and 25 people who are yet to be identified.

The reality star has not publicly responded to the lawsuit. Angelica Vasquez, who identifies as a “Salvadoran woman and a practicing Catholic,” said in the filing that she was, “routinely assigned the most difficult and undesirable tasks; excluded from the housekeeping team; publicly belittled and humiliated in front of coworkers due to her race, national origin and religion; and subjected to intimidation and demeaning treatment."

Vasquez alleged that she experienced the same while working for The Kardashians star from September 2024 to August 2025. The filing further read, “This conduct was continuous and created a toxic and abusive work environment. No remedial action was taken by any supervisors who witnessed this."

However, according to the housekeeper’s lawsuit, her situation worsened after she raised concerns about her treatment. She recalled facing an “increased workload; reduction of scheduled hours; false accusations and disciplinary warnings; continued public humiliation; and hostile verbal and physical conduct.”

Vasquez described a specific incident she said was violent that ultimately led to her decision to resign. The incident took place in March 2025 when an unnamed supervisor allegedly “threw hangers at her feet while reprimanding her."

The former staff member of Kylie Jenner added that she suffered from “anxiety, severe stress, and symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder" this period, which led her to take a medical leave in July 2025.

However, things were no different when she returned from her medical leave. The complaint alleged that, “upon her return, the hostile conditions continued” and that, “working conditions had become intolerable.”

As a result, Angelica Vasquez had to quit her job in August 2025. Court documents show Vasquez is seeking damages including "unpaid wages, meal and rest period premium pay, unreimbursed business expenses, unpaid sick leave, and all other compensation unlawfully withheld."

Online responses to the news varied widely. An Instagram user seemed to believe Kylie Jenner’s former staff member and said, “I don't doubt it at all! They definitely seem like the kind of people who would be like that.”

However, a user came out in support of the Kylie Cosmetics founder and added, “STAY strong Kylie. Fight back because this will set a precedent. People are always trying to make a buck. We DONT BELIEVE YOU ANGELICA. I bet this was her plan all along.”
