Kylie Jenner Hit With ‘Bad Boss’ Claims After Ex-Housekeeper Files Lawsuit

Kylie Jenner is reportedly finding herself in the middle of a major PR headache after a former employee accused her household of hostile work environment.

The beauty mogul and reality TV star has been hit with a lawsuit from former housekeeper Angelica Vasquez, who claims she experienced bullying, humiliation and discrimination while working inside Kylie’s ultra-luxurious Hidden Hills mansion. And according to insiders, the accusations are now forcing Kylie to seriously rethink how she runs things behind closed doors.

Vasquez alleged she started working for the Kardashian-Jenner star on Sept. 10, 2024, and was assigned to Kylie’s mansion shortly after. But instead of finding a high-profile position, she claims the environment quickly turned hostile. According to the lawsuit, Vasquez said other staff members treated her with “hostility and exclusion,” while allegedly belittling and humiliating her on the job. She also claimed she was mocked for being from El Salvador and for being Catholic.

The former employee said she eventually left the position after filing complaints in August 2025, but claimed the alleged mistreatment left her suffering from “symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder.” Now the lawsuit is putting Kylie under increased public scrutiny, especially as past allegations regarding workplace conduct resurfaced online.

“Kylie says this is nothing but a smash-and-grab case from someone who's going to get laughed out of court. But that doesn't mean she can totally ignore this – it's a PR nightmare,” an insider claimed. “This is not the first time she's been accused of being a terrible boss.” The new allegations have also brought renewed attention to comments made years ago by employees at Kylie Cosmetics’ manufacturing facility in Oxnard, California. Back in 2021, factory worker Irene Lopez claimed employees were given strict rules whenever Kylie or her mother, Kris Jenner, visited the facility.

“You are not allowed to talk with them ... you guys are not allowed to take any pictures or ask any questions,” Lopez alleged workers were told. Another worker reportedly added: “Supervisors would say, 'don't even look at them.'” Now, insiders claim Kylie is dealing with growing concerns over her public image as more criticism spreads online. “She has a bad reputation and now these damaging accusations are all over the internet, shining a light on how she operates day to day,” the source claimed.

“Everyone knows she's a tough taskmaster used to getting what she wants the minute she wants it.” According to insiders, Kylie is reportedly torn between fighting the lawsuit aggressively or trying to avoid dragging the situation out publicly. “She wants to dig in and fight this, but a lot of people are telling her it's not worth it because if it does go to trial it will open the door to all sorts of private details getting out,” the source added.

“Plus it's going to stay in the news cycle longer and it could encourage other ex-employees to come out of the woodwork to spill on her.” And while Kylie has not publicly addressed the lawsuit in detail, insiders say the situation may already be forcing the billionaire entrepreneur to rethink her image and leadership style. “As much as she may not want to admit it, this mess is forcing her to take a hard look at herself.”
