Keith Urban Reportedly Ready to Build a ‘Second Family’ After Nicole Kidman Heartbreak
Insiders say Keith Urban is focused on rebuilding his life following the end of his 19-year marriage to Nicole Kidman. Sources say the country singer is already thinking about having more children just months after the January divorce was finalized.
According to RdaraOnline, years-old claims about an alleged secret child have resurfaced alongside reports about his future plans. Back in 2008, two Australian women claimed their sister gave birth to Urban’s daughter in 1994 before the baby was reportedly placed for adoption. “Keith is always quick to deny it but a lot of people think there's more to the story than he's willing to admit,” an insider claimed.

Whether those rumors are true or not, sources say Keith, 58, has privately been focused on the idea of expanding his family again now that his marriage is over. “It's something he and Nicole talked about for years, but they were never able to agree, so now that he's single and free to do what he wants, making that happen is at the top of the list,” the source said.
Urban and Kidman married in 2006 and share two daughters — Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15. But according to insiders, life after the breakup has not been easy for the singer, especially when it comes to his relationship with his daughters. Sources claim the custody arrangement heavily favors Kidman, with the actress reportedly having the girls for 306 days each year compared to Urban's 59 days.

Insiders say Urban was particularly hurt after Sunday gave a recent interview describing Kidman as her greatest inspiration — without referencing her father. “It's like he doesn't exist,” a source claimed, adding that Keith was left “just numb” by the omission. “He's still in damage-protection mode with Nicole and their girls.” Friends say the singer is maintaining a positive public face while privately working out what comes next.
And although Keith is said to be keeping his future family plans extremely private for now, insiders claim he hopes people will eventually understand where he’s coming from. “when things calm down... everyone will see [his starting a second family] as a positive thing,” the insider said. For now, Keith is reportedly focusing on moving forward after the end of one of Hollywood’s most famous marriages, while trying to heal from the emotional fallout that insiders claim still weighs heavily on him.
