Karoline Leavitt Calls Donald Trump “Most Well-Read in the Room,” Internet Responds With Brutal Reality Check
Karoline Leavitt has a reputation for making strongly worded remarks for President Donald Trump. She and Pam Bondi have often been called out by the users online for their over-the-top support for Trump and his policies. After Donald Trump’s name was released in the Epstein Files and Bondi was grilled over the claims, she blatantly supported Trump, dismissing any alleged ties between Trump and the disgraced financier.
Karoline Leavitt, the youngest Press Secretary, has repeatedly defended Trump and his controversial policies. She has acted as a barrier, often helping the President deflect tough questions during press conferences.
But now, according to the Atlanta Black Star, Karoline Leavitt has made a shocking remark about Trump and how “well-read” he is. There are many rumors that Donald Trump doesn’t read. Reportedly, he likes to watch TV and prefers getting information from TV itself. He also watches new programs for long hours each day. Most people agree that for Trump, reading is just not his cup of tea.

If you compare Trump with former President Barack Obama, he was an avid reader and also used to share one of his top books. But Trump, he’s different. So when Karoline Leavitt praised Trump’s reading abilities, the internet was shocked. Karoline was speaking at George Washington University on April 2, where she revealed that Donald Trump “actually likes to read”. She talked about Trump’s reading habits while talking to Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk.
According to The Mirror US, Karoline was talking to students to guide them for their future. However, she made a surprising revelation about Trump and said, “The best piece of advice I was ever given was to try to be the most well-read person in every room. I try to be every day, but Donald Trump always is. That man does not miss a story. Let me tell you. He is always reading the papers and watching TV. He doesn’t miss anything anyone says in the whole world. I don’t know how he does it and consumes it all, and it’s a lot.”
She further added, “You are students. You’re, you’re working, you are in school. You want to have fun, you want to live lives. You can’t consume every piece of news, but before you get really hot and bothered about something, or maybe angry or really encouraged by something, check other sources and then use your best judgement to sort of balance what the truth is. And unfortunately, that’s the way it has to be done.”
Well, let’s be honest, Karoline Leavitt’s advice to students to check news sources and then form a judgement is acceptable, but it has nothing to do with being “well-read”. Social media erupted after Karoline’s claims of Donald being well-read and slammed her. Her comment caught California Governor Gavin Newsom’s eye, and he took to X.Taking a jibe, he said, “DONALD TRUMP IS THE MOST WELL-READ PERSON IN THE ROOM? WHO ELSE IS IN THAT ROOM? TWO ROCKS, A JELLY DONUT, AND LEAVITT?”

Miles Taylor, a former national security official, also questioned Leavitt’s comment and said Trump doesn’t like to read. In his words: “I remember the first piece of advice I got on briefing President Trump in 2017: He doesn’t read. Bring pictures. Only try to impress one thing on him. And if there has to be words, single page only.”
