According to Radar Online, a video clip of Kai speaking to her aunt on the latter's show, My View with Lara Trump, has resurfaced. Talking about the critiques and backlash she gets on social media, Kai said she stays away from them. "It doesn't really affect me because, I don't know, I know who I am."

The teen then added, "It doesn't really matter, to be honest. People say whatever they want to say at the end of the day. I know what's true, and I know the type of person I am. It doesn't really matter."

Kai Trump Slammed Online for 'Out-of-Touch' TikTok post

Kai landed in hot water recently after posting a TikTok video flaunting her outfit. She wore a light blue halter-neck crop top and white pleated shorts. She was seen lip-syncing to the Mamma Mia! movie soundtrack version of ABBA's Gimme Gimme Gimme. "The greatest movie ever," she wrote in the caption.

However, netizens did not approve of her video. They were particularly put off by the timing of the post, given that ordinary Americans are struggling financially amidst the ongoing US-Israel war against Iran.

According to RadarOnline, one person's comment under her video read, "So out of touch." Someone else wrote, "This entire family simply cannot read the room." A third person blasted Trump's eldest grandchild, saying, "She's ridiculously entitled," while another user wrote, "You are way too tone-deaf."

Kai Trump Took Her Secret Service Detail to a Luxury Grocery Store

In March, Kai faced the wrath of social media users yet again when she posted a vlog on her YouTube channel showing her shopping at Erewhon, a luxury grocery store in Los Angeles. Her Secret Service detail accompanied her on the trip.

"I am gonna need to file for bankruptcy," she joked as she filled her basket with health supplements, sushi, a water bottle shaker, and more.

"Guys, one thing about me is I don't spend, like, a lot of money," she said at one point in the video. "I'm very… like I don't spend a lot," she added. Her grocery run, which included a $21 Hailey Bieber smoothie, a $14 bottle of water, and a $17 jar of dates, cost her $233.

Netizens bashed the video and critiqued Kai for being "out of touch."
