Late-night host Stephen Colbert's show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, is in its final weeks on air. On Monday night's broadcast, Colbert was joined by Kimmel, Seth Meyers, John Oliver, and Jimmy Fallon. During the segment, the hosts discussed the connection between their programs and President Donald Trump, according to People.

Colbert asked the hosts if they ever expected to do a job that the "president of the United States would have strong feelings about."

Stephen Colbert asked the hosts if they ever expected the President to care about their jokes.

Melania Trump posted on X, "His monologue about my family isn't comedy — his words are corrosive and deepen the political sickness within America. Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC's leadership enable Kimmel's atrocious behavior at the expense of our community?"

Reacting to Colbert's question, Kimmel joked, "You know what's even weirder? Doing a job that his wife has strong feelings about. That's where it crosses over." Seth Meyers said, "Most of us have avoided that part."

Kimmel then revealed that he had texted the group chat after he got into trouble with Trump and Melania Trump. John Oliver said, "It's an amazing thing to get in a group text, just a text from Jimmy saying, 'Oh boy,' and then a picture of Melania mad at him. What a way to start the day."

Kimmel said, "And then I sent a text to you guys. I sent, 'Don't be mad at me, but I liked it. I think she's got a point'."

Kimmel Was Also Criticized For Making Fun of Marco Rubio's Vatican Visit

Jimmy Kimmel has, time and again, faced criticism with his remarks against the Trump administration and its officials. While his feud with Donald Trump is known, the late-night host recently mocked Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s meeting with Pope Leo XIV in his monologue, according to Mandatory.

During the May 7 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kimmel focused on Rubio's body language during his Vatican visit.

Reacting to a clip of Rubio greeting the pope and posing for a photo, he joked, "That's what Marco calls vibing with someone." He then compared the moment to "the chemistry of parents at their daughter's wedding two months after the divorce."
