Gigi Hadid looked dazzling while walking through New York City.
The Vogue cover star was seen wearing a buttoned crop top, blue jeans, a Loro Piana pocket pouch, gray converse sneakers and a silver necklace. The former Victoria's Secret model kept her hair in a slicked back updo while seemingly listening to music.
The celebrity spotting followed the recent news of the television personality starting her own clothing line. The brand is called Guest in Residence, and Hadid is listed as the founder and creative director. The mom-of-one shared with her Instagram followers a sneak peek into what appears to be a knitwear collection.
Fans of Hadid have been able to watch her personal style evolve over the years. The beginning of her career was documented on the Bravo series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when her mother, Yolanda Hadid, was a cast member of the popular show. During her time on the show, viewers saw her evolve from a volleyball-loving teen into one of the most recognizable faces in fashion.
Even though Hadid is known for her work on the catwalk, she's always dreamt of being in the creative space. In 2018, she worked on a collection with Tommy Hilfiger, and most recently, she worked on a collection of swimwear for Frankies Bikinis.
"I've always been a creative person. Before I lived in New York, it was through painting, drawing, and sculpting. But I was always crafty. I think that translates into how I see modeling now. When I go to a set, I'm not just thinking about myself and the photographer. I watch the crew, lighting, catering, how they all set up."
She told InStyle, "I think about all the levels of it. Maybe that will lead to something in the future like having a production company or being a creative director. I love coming up with concepts. In the beginning of your career, you don't have the opportunity to do that."
Hadid has been using clothing as a form of creative expression over the years.
