President Donald Trump can’t seem to stop making headlines for all the wrong reasons, as he decided to give himself a new moniker during Easter. Though Christians overlooked his antics, Paula White-Cain, Trump’s religious adviser, drew an unbelievable comparison.
During a recent event, the religious figure spoke highly of the POTUS. But she decided to cross the line when she felt that it was right to draw a comparison between Trump and Jesus Christ.

According to reports from AL, Paula White-Cain, the senior adviser to the White House Faith Office, drew a shocking comparison. As she celebrated the Holy Week, she felt that it was right to point out a familiar pattern that “our lord and savior showed us.”
She continued that the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, which almost cost him his life. White-Cain added, “You were betrayed and arrested and falsely accused. It’s a familiar pattern that our lord and savior showed us.” The comparison did not end there, as she shared more instances that made Trump and Christ have more similarities.
The adviser briefly discussed God’s resurrection and how he always had a plan, similar to how Trump rose and was a victor in his plans. She added, “I believe that the lord said to tell you this: because of his victory, you will be victorious in all you put your hand to.” The comments were outrageous. Tim Whitaker, an influencer and Christian voice commentator, described the comparison as “blasphemous,” as per Salon.
The comments did not sit well with netizens, who instantly took to social media to grill him for the offensive comments. A user tweeted, “This is beyond disrespectful, it’s outright offensive. Comparing a politician to Jesus Christ isn’t 'faith,' it’s manipulation. Betrayal, arrest, criticism, those are part of politics. They are NOT the crucifixion.”
Another user joked, “When I said, ‘Trump is the Christ,’ I never really meant it.” A third added, “So, by the same token, the Gospel is the Epstein files? And no, you CAN'T say I am disrespectful, because THEY started it with that shameful comparison with Jesus. I am just following along.”
Another added, “What a despicable group of vile, heartless individuals.” Lastly, a user tweeted, “‘RACIST WHITE CHRISTIANS’ are declaring him as Jesus. This also means they will CRUCIFY him.”
Donald Trump Uses the Same Moniker as Jesus Christ
In a video by Forbes, during the Easter lunch event, he drew attention to himself not for his support of Erika Kirk but for comparing himself to Jesus Christ. He said, “On Palm Sunday, Jesus entered Jerusalem as crowds welcomed him with praise, honoring him as king.”
He added with a gleeful smile, “They call me king now. Can you believe it?” He also joked about the snail problem obstructing the ballroom construction at his golf course in Ireland. Trump said, “No kings. I’m such a king, I can’t get a ballroom approved.” However, he emphasized that if he were the real king, he would have done a lot more.
