Candace Owens Torches Erika Kirk Over ‘Excuses,’ Claims Event Snub Was All About Flop Ticket Sales

Candace Owens again took aim at Erika Kirk, this time, alleging that the widow of Charlie Kirk canceled plans to host a Turning Point USA event at the last minute due to poor ticket sales.

According to a report by RadarOnline, Owens dismissed claims of a “viable threat” that led the TPUSA CEO to skip the event that took place at the University of Georgia on April 14, 2026.

The organization’s spokesperson and the Charlie Kirk Show executive producer, Andrew Kolvet, filled in for her and interviewed JD Vance, along with other Republican politicians.

Kirk a video on her X account of Kolvet announcing on stage while speaking to Vance that she had to skip the event because of “some very serious threats in her direction."

Andrew Kolvet also called it, “terrible reflection on the state of reality and the state of the country." Sharing the video, the former Miss Arizona stated, “I was so looking forward to tonight’s event at the @universityofga with our Vice President @JDVance, but after all our family has been through, I take my security team’s recommendations extremely seriously.” This was a reference to her husband, Charlie Kirk, being assassinated at Utah Valley University in September last year.

However, Owens, one of Kirk’s biggest critics, did not believe her reasoning. Sharing the mother of two’s X post, Owens said, “Stop. This is exhausting.”

The political commentator alleged that Kirk bailed out of the event due to its bad ticket sales. She further wrote, “You pulled out because of bad ticket sales. For the same reason, TPFaith had to 'reschedule' the Pastor’s Summit and various other events quietly."

Further lashing out at her, Owens stated, “People don’t believe you and don’t line up for you because you struggle to tell the truth about even the most basic facts. Where is the video of Charlie appointing you as CEO weeks before his death?"

Owens further backed her allegations against Kirk by pointing out that there must have been a strong Secret Service presence at the Akins Ford Arena in Athens, Georgia, since JD Vance had decided to attend the event. Candace found it hard to believe that Erika had skipped the event, whereas the Vice President had chosen to attend.

The former TPUSA communications director called out the former reality TV star by stating, “The Secret Service sits above your security team. Were there actually a viable threat, the Vice President would not have continued the event.”

She continued her rant, adding, “Your closest threat is the s--- Public Relations team you hired that continues to operate under the delusion that they are smarter than the public. They aren’t."

The internet, by now, is well-versed in the stringent scrutiny that Candace Owens often shows towards Erika Kirk. The former Daily Wire host also started an eight-part YouTube series titled Bride of Charlie. The series involves bombshell allegations against Kirk, along with a thorough investigation into her past and her behavioral pattern after her husband’s death.

However, Owens’ allegation against Erika had a mixed response from social media users. One of the X users supported Kirk and lashed out at Candace stating, “You've drug Charlie's legacy for 7 months. You’ve lied about his wife. You are the reason her life is in danger. Enough.” Another X user agreed with Candace Owens and sarcastically questioned, “Who is she safer with, her security detail that got her husband killed, or the United States Secret Service currently at the event?"
