Candace Owens has had enough, as she grows tired of X-trends being biased towards her. She expressed her frustration after one of her recent tweets was heavily twisted by the trends section of social media. She was fuming, leaving a screenshot of the actual tweet and how it was presented to the world.
Though she called out X for misrepresenting the tone of her tweet, netizens shared their two cents on the overall situation. Her strong accusation drew mixed reactions from users, calling her out and claiming that her words carry no weight.
Candace Owens Calls X-Trends Bias Towards Her
Candace Owens has grown tired of X being biased towards her. She decided to voice her frustration on the same platform, sharing a screenshot of her original tweet and how it appears in social media's trends sections. She wrote, “I can’t explain it but I’m starting to enjoy how biased Twitter trends are against me.”
Candace Owens criticizes X for rephrasing her tweet's tone.
The far-right political commentator added, “Here is what I said vs. how it is being reported as an X trend.” She labeled the platform as an “Israeli opp,” but she does not intend to leave the platform and would continue to stay. In a follow-up tweet, she gave a hypothetical instance of making a “polite request.” However, the platform will brand it as “Candace Owens RAGES and DEMANDS with knife in hand.”
Owens was referring to the tweet where she criticized Blake Neff, a friend of Charlie Kirk, who had criticized her for her remarks in his recent video. He said that the deceased conservative often used to say that Erika Kirk would take over if something were to happen to him.
Charlie Kirk's friend claims he knew Erika Kirk will take over TPUSA.
Neff emphasized that he had firsthand heard it, and it was obvious that Erika Kirk, who is his wife, would run the organization after his demise. In the 90-second clip, the political commentator left a comment, “Love this. Can you please the release the video you shot in Aspen of him naming her as his successor a couple of weeks before he died? Just feel that it would go a long way.”
Blake Neff replied to her comment, calling her a psychopathic predator who does not have any effect of “evidentiary logic” on her. He added, “You're the kind of person who sees coded messages in the number '33' but then ignores evidence like DNA on a rifle or Tyler Robinson's own family members turning him in.”
He concluded by saying that they have given up the possibility of having a good-faith conversation with her, drawing a parallel with a “maniac brandishing a knife.” She concluded the heated conversation, suggesting that he should call his statement an “April Fools” prank.
Netizens Divided Over Candace Owens’ Comments
While Candace Owens targeted X-trends for being biased against her, netizens did not waste time, flooding her comments with criticism. A user wrote, “So because you said 'please, ' it's not a demand? Ok, sis. And exactly why do you think you have the right to ask for anything from TPUSA? Do you work there? Do you donate money to them? Maybe you should accept that they owe you nothing.”
Another user wrote, “You know you are just any angry black woman out here in these streets living up to all the stereotypes knifing people on the subway making everyone wanna use that hard r.” A third added, “It is no different than we were under Democrat control. Left, right, it does not matter. It's all the same. The power structure remains the same.”
However, not everyone opposed her; some came forward to support her. A user wrote, “Finally, you say something about it. It's been forever. They've always misrepresented, exaggerated or lied about what you said, how or why you said it.” Another user added, “YouTube too, I literally screenshot this today! I was like dang- that’s unusual for @RealCandaceO Then I saw they literally didn’t even match up.”
Lastly, a user wrote, “Twitter is a literal cesspool, babes. I only come here to see the bots at work against you. It's truly sickening how easy they can run AI campaigns against someone live-streaming their research.” With that said, the heated saga between Candace Owens and TPUSA continues, as the former criticizes Erika Kirk, the organization's CEO.
