On his official website, Mullin wrote about his wife's challenges with fertility. However, they have not let it affect their relationship and enjoy their time with their five children. The website mentioned that they had been trying to get pregnant for years, but their journey was tragic because she had suffered a miscarriage.
During an exclusive interview with Today, Mullin stated that Ivy Mullin and Lynette Mullin had a situation when they were born to a teenage mother. As a result, it forced him and Christie Mullin to adopt the twins, as well as their son, Jayce Mullin, in 2019.
